Financial information and corporate governance

SOS Alarm Sverige AB complies with the State’s ownership policy and its reporting principles.

The profitability requirement from the owners is that the operating margin in the Group shall amount to at least two percent, excluding the emergency call management agreement with the Government, and that the equity ratio in the Group shall amount to 25–35 percent with a target value of 30 per cent. The company’s dividend policy is that the dividend should correspond to 10–30 percent of profit after tax in the long term.

The financial targets are long-term and should be evaluated over a business cycle, approximately five to seven years. Changes in market conditions or the company’s operations may give rise to a revision of the targets.

In addition to the Code 3.72-3.73, the company also follows the COSO framework for internal control over financial reporting, which covers the control environment, risk assessment, control structures, information and communication, and monitoring. Internal control is included as part of the corporate governance report.
