SOS Alarm Sverige AB (SOS Alarm) is a company in which part of the company’s activities includes and is intended to coordinate and exercise the public alarm functions. For example, by answering emergency calls and other emergency communications to the emergency number 112, being responsible for the special information number 113 13 (to provide information in the event of serious accidents and crises) and conveying messages within the Important Public Announcement (VMA) system. Only these activities are covered by the Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services. SOS Alarm conducts a large number of other activities and services as a private actor and which are not covered by the Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services.

This is SOS Alarm Sverige AB’s website and we want as many people as possible to be able to use it. This page describes how www.sosalarm.se fulfils the Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services, any known accessibility problems and how you can report shortcomings to us so that we can address them.

How accessible is the website?

This website is divided into three sections: 112 and other key numbers, our services and about us. We aim for the 112 and other key numbers section to be fully compliant with the Act on Accessibility. We recognise that other sections are not fully accessible. Sections where we are not covered by the law may be partially accessible but will not be prioritised. Our priority is for you as a citizen to be able to use our public services and access information that could save your life or the life or property of someone else. This website is mainly compliant with the Act on Accessibility to Digital Public Services.

Lack of compliance with legal requirements

SOS Alarm Sverige AB has addressed a number of the points within the framework of the Act on the Accessibility to Digital Public Services, but we are aware that there are remaining points that need to be addressed. We have tested the parts of our operations that fall under SOS Alarm’s public assignment where the Act on Accessibility to Digital Public Services applies, mainly the 112 section and other key numbers.

The website has partial deficiencies on individual or section pages in the following areas:

  • Use without vision, visual impairment or colour vision impairment.
  • Use without hearing or hearing impairment.
  • Use with impaired fine motor skills, strength or other mobility impairments
  • Use with cognitive impairment.

Continuous work with accessibility issues

We work with accessibility issues on an ongoing basis. Our aim is to address known accessibility issues as quickly as possible. We aim to have the measures updated not later than 23 March 2025.

How we tested the website

We have had an external provider manually conduct an independent review of the website’s accessibility against WCAG 2.1 level AA and accessibility tests.
