112 is Sweden's emergency number.
You can call 112 around the clock.
Call 112 when it is urgent and you quickly need help from:
- Ambulance
- Fire brigade
- Police
Call 112 if:
- Someone is seriously ill or injured.
- You witness a crime.
- You see something on fire.
When you call 112 you will be asked questions such as:
- What has happened?
- Where has it happened?
- What phone number are you calling from?
You can get help from an interpreter if you need another language.
Only call 112 when it is urgent.
If you call 112 unnecessarily someone else may have to wait for help.
112 works across Europe.
If you call 112 in another EU country you will get local help.
